Riding record growth and backed by a world-class team, Messerli Kramer chose 50 South Sixth as their new Minneapolis headquarters. The goals were clear: build a space that reflects the firm’s professionalism and supports the kind of client service a growing law practice depends on. The design team responded with a balance of private offices and shared spaces. Private offices for nearly every attorney and paralegal line the perimeter of the 23rd floor, with views of the city in every direction. The interior opens up to a a break room designed as the firm’s main gathering point, a reception experience centered on hospitality, and centralized conference rooms with upgraded technology. Wood ceiling elements and strategic lighting interrupt long corridors with visual texture, glass exposure pulls daylight deep into the floor plate, and a curated art wall adds personality across a grounded material palette.
