Located within the HealthEast Clinic and Specialty Center, Maplewood Surgery Center was designed to maximize the patient experience and improve efficiencies among pre-op and post-op staff. The circular elements at the reception desk and in the flooring design break up the rectilinear sterile environment. The natural light, bright finish palette, organic materials and warm wood tones in the pre-op and post-op rooms create a relaxing space for patients and contribute to a fast recovery. The circular flow between pre-op and post-op areas maximizes efficiency among nursing staff and provides a central place for communication, ultimately enhancing patient care.
