CLA embarked on a transformative journey to relocate and redesign its Oak Brook, Illinois office. The mission was clear: to break away from the mold of conventional accounting firms and create an environment that would attract and retain the brightest minds in the industry. The wellness room and “Thrive” space encourage employees to take time to reset, prevent burnout, and improve well-being and performance. The diverse range of work settings, including private offices, meeting rooms, collaboration space, and focus areas, accommodates multiple modalities of working. The expansive break room serves numerous functions by providing opportunities for large team gatherings, socialization, and respite. The multifaceted approach taken by the designers reinvents CLA’s workspace, elevating both the way of working and the company culture.
