505 Waterford

When 505 Waterford was acquired by the owner of its sister building, 605 Waterford, BDH was selected to rejuvenate the public areas to align with current workplace trends and behaviors. The outdated lobbies were transformed into amenity areas providing numerous opportunities for collaboration and flexibility, while also connecting users to an abundance of natural light and green space. Encompassing a multitude of seating options, the lobby areas accommodate a variety of work styles and offer respite from the office suites. Covered in heavily-patterned terrazzo original to the 1987 building, BDH found creative ways to highlight fresh materials and create a refined aesthetic appropriate for the class A suburban office building. The renovation of the public areas not only elevates the look and feel of the common areas, but the updates empower the 505 and 605 buildings to function as a unified office park.
