The design team converted three separate suites into a cohesive, modern space that more than doubled the original clinic size. This new environment sets itself apart from traditional dental clinics with its design-forward approach, featuring high ceilings in the lobby that create a striking first impression. Architectural curves throughout the clinic, inspired by the clinic owner’s Brooklyn upbringing, add a touch of cultural richness and art-deco aesthetics, infusing brightness and warmth into the space.
A primary goal of the redesign was to showcase cutting-edge technology, highlighting the clinic’s expertise. This is beautifully displayed through prefab glass walls, offering transparency and a glimpse into the advanced digital lab. The relocation also allowed for the creation of more staff-dedicated areas, including private surgery rooms and a larger break room, enhancing functionality and comfort to ensure the staff can provide the best care possible. By serving a previously underserved and diverse community, Mounds View Family Dental not only provides exceptional care but also fosters a sense of belonging.
