Meadowood Shores, a senior living community designed for active seniors aged 62 years and older, required updates to stay competitive and meet the evolving expectations of the residents. The primary goal was to reconfigure and upgrade the amenity areas to optimize space and elevate the living experience. The dining room was expanded by repurposing the underutilized 3-season porch and a bistro with diverse seating options was added to create a restaurant-like ambiance. The fitness center was enlarged to better serve the residents and the library was transformed into a vibrant game room with counters for food and crafts, bringing new energy to the space. Strategic finishes were used for wayfinding, making amenity spaces easily identifiable and special, while timeless finishes allowed for phased renovations within budget constraints. These thoughtful upgrades ensure that Meadowood Shores remains a vibrant and welcoming community.
